Stone Ministry stone
cementing sessions have been added to the list of activities available
to family campers at Kingswood Campsite. The sessions, including a tractor
ride to old farmer's stone piles, are presently scheduled Friday at 10:00
am and Saturday at 9:30 am and 2:00 pm. during the camping
season. Youth participants in the WOODSMOKE summer camp program are encouraged to find a special stone during their week at the camp. Then toward the end of the week they cement their stone into the structure.
We see a great potential for theme retreats to the Stone Ministry such as Confirmation classes, bereavement, marriage enrichment, bible study, etc. Such retreats would find their own guest pastor and would utilize a Stone Ministry mason.
