The church of Jesus Christ is built upon the “Rock” - not Peter, but the confession that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. Let us look at our ROCK history as we journey through the scriptures. We can begin with Exodus 24:12 - the LORD said to Moses, “Come up on the mountain and stay here for a while. I will give you the two flat stones on which I have written the laws that my people must obey.”
In the 21st Century and for much of the century before it very little was written in stone. Very little there has been that has not experienced change. As we erect a building to God let us remember that all this started with two tablets of stone on which were written God’s law. We pray that our labors in God’s quarries over the years will build a harvest of souls who will look at the Stone Ministry and see the permanence of God in their lives.

We envision this project as a place where souls will find peace from a harried and troubled life. Many who

will partake in the gathering of the rocks, shaping and building of this new house of God will feel like Jeremiah when he said Lamentations 3:9 - “God put big rocks in my way and made me follow a crooked path”. May this project help remove the rocks from the paths of many and make straight their paths.
